Sky's is producing a 92-97 F-250/F-350 front shackle reversal. The kit will give 3 inch's of lift. Its here at last.

Sky Manufacturing second generation front Ford F-350 shackle reversal. This kit provides much better ride than stock by eliminating the weak front shackle bushing, and by moving the shackle to the rear of the leaf spring like it should be as to deflect impacts of harsh road driving. Kit provides a 3 inch lift. We recommend new longer/better shocks to compliment this lift. If you would like to get carried away, we also can provide a drop pitman arm and new braided brake lines, though not needed. The new generation front hanger kit also allows the fitment of an intercooler in the front cavity of the truck, as the ears of the hanger that sit on the inside of the frame are now formed to eliminate spacers previously used. All parts are laser cut, cnc formed, tig welded. Primary hanger is .250 steel, shackles and pan hard drop are 3/8ths steel. Kit includes all needed hardware, bushings, and instructions. F-250 will require minor front frame horn modification to fit on some vehicles. If you are using a TTB front axle you will need to fab or buy drop brackets.

Sky's has just released the final revision of there Shackle reversal for the 92-97 F-350 pickup. The kit includes the front hanger, the rear shackles, pan hard drop bracket, all bolts, bushings, and other needed hardware. The front hanger is 1/4 inch plate steel laser cut and formed, center tube is 2" o.d. .120 wall. Rear shackles are 3/8ths laser cut and formed, designed to wrap around the bushing tube, not weld on top of it. All welding is TIG machine.    Part # Ford-FSR-003 Price in raw steel-$300. Now Available 92-97 Ford F-350 Front Shackle Reversal 5" lift.

Same kit as our 3 inch but in a larger 5 inch lift version for those who just need to be bigger. This kit alone will allow 37x13.5 tires on your F-350. Once again it is adaptable to the F-250 if you modify the front frame horns near the bumper. This kit will need longer shocks, brake lines, and a pitman arm. Combine with 6 inch spring to clear 42x15 tires. Kit is fully bolt on and includes all needed hardware, shackles, pan hard drop and front hanger kit.

 Dana 60 King Pin Steering Arms!

The New Dana 60 King Pin arms are machined from a solid block of steel, the king pin cap is built in to the arm, a grease zert is provided. The arms are designed for use with conical nuts a special studs provided by Sky's ($20-per arm-new design!). Available in left and right with single or double hole for 1 ton Chevy/Ford ends. Sky's will custom build any high steer kit that can be compiled. A standard Chevy full high steer crossover which includes pitman arm, drag link with ends and jams, both left and right arms with hardware, and tie rod with ends and jams is $675.

Also available and shown above are Dana 60 tie rod behind axle steering arms, which have a 6 inch on center tie rod eye to king pin eye, And Intermediate 60 arms which are 6 inch eye to eye as well. Intermediate arms work well on vehicles that require a tie rod and drag link installed in a Y system where the tie rod supports the drag link. Rear steer long arms are $150 ea, Chevy TRE taper.

Our Dana 60 King Pin Crossover Steering Kit comes with all the parts  you will need to convert from a weak push pull steering to an ultra responsive and strong crossover steering system. You will need to supply a 2wd steering box on Chevy's, change the pitman arm location and box location on Dodge's, and Fords you simply install a pitman arm at a 90* angle ( some years vary) . Kit includes Sky's huge Dana 60 crossover steering arm, 1.250x.250 wall DOM tube, both tie rod ends, jam nuts, install kit for steering arm and correct pitman arm. There are slight variations with different brands of vehicles, you must be specific as to what year and make of vehicle you are ordering for.

78-97 Ford Shackle Flip Kit.

Sky's Off-Road is the only company producing a rear shackle flip kit for the Ford vehicles so far. This adds 4.5 inch's of lift. On Bronco based vehicles, no modifications are needed to correct pinion angle if only the flip kit is used. On long wheel base vehicles, using factory blocks, we recommend a 4 inch lift block with a 4 degree taper replace the factory blocks, in reverse of stock. This will correct pinion angle and move the axle slightly rearward.

    Tired of the weak torch and turn shackle flip kits. Want something strong and attractive looking? Need it to bolt on? We've covered it all with our bolt on shackle flip kit for the rear shackle on almost any Ford pickup or Bronco with 3" wide rear springs. Moves the shackle forward 1 inch for better ride and angle, bolts to stock location of factory upwards shackle hanger, constructed of 1/4 and 3/8ths steel plate, laser cut and CNC formed.

        The Ford shackle reversal bolted in the stock location adds Aprx. 4.5 inch's of lift. Some may prefer to weld on the bracket, depending on location this will add or subtract lift on the principal of an one inch shackle movement adds or subtracts 1/2 inch of lift.

I am writing you today about my complete satisfaction with your Ford Shackle
flip brackets. I have had these on for almost 3 years and 32K miles. They
have been through the worst I could put them through, and just keep on
asking for more. Since installation on my truck I have jumped my truck about
4 times trice at Glamis Sand dunes and once at El Mirage dry lake going
about 75 or so MPH. Not to mention the many miles of towing and "jackrabbit"
starts these have endured. Even the wear I got on my leaf anti-squeak
bushings has seemed to stop. In contrast to the lift blocks I had on there
previously these shackles were a godsend. These units have held up with out
any flexing, cracking or bending that I can see. Your superb engineering is
also apparent in the fact no harm has come to the factory shackle given the
abuse I have given my suspension. They have miraculously not bent twisted or
cracked proving your design is by all meaning of the word, foolproof.

Sky's Dana diff guards are fabricated from 3/8ths steel laser cut outer rings, with 3/4 solid stock formed and welded to the outer diff ring. Includes hardware and available in dana 44 and 60 versions.

Ford Chevy Jeep Dana 44 High Steer Arms.

   

We do not Powder Coat Steering arms!

Powder Coating steering arms is very Dangerous. Why, #1 because metal to metal contact area's should not have a weaker cushion between them to wear out, causing arms to become loose, and deadly. #2, Conical washers will not seat correctly, neither will your tie rods ends.

Dana 44 HS install kit- $29.

Too the right is the new Tall Dana 44 Steering arm. This arm is 7/8ths of an inch taller than our normal Dana 44 steering arm. It has been designed to fit leaf sprung vehicles, without the use of spacers. It retains a short stud as well, making the install stronger than long stud kits. The arms are available in a long passenger side 2 hole, and a short single hole driver side.

 

 

Dana 44 Machine/Drill/Tap labor-$45. 2-5 day turnaround. Knuckle must be bare just like picture shows. No ball joints or spindle studs. Do not expect returns if you do do not strip knuckle.

Our Dana 44 steering arms are machined from billet steel blanks, no hot roll bar stock that can bend, or water jetted flat stock. We taper them for Factory Chevy conical washers, and Chevy/Ford 1 Ton tie rod ends. They are available in a single hole style for those who just need crossover steering, and a 2 hole with second arm for full high steer. We have machined all edge's round to minimize stress risers, and added a 10 degree angle to eliminate steering bind, many arms do not have this feature.

The Medium Dana 44 Steering Arm was constructed for those who need a tall arm, but have to run the Drag Link into the Steering Tie Rod. Such as the Case in Many Jeep with leaf spring applications. You will need a 2233 TRE with the Steering Stabalizer eye reamed for a TRE.

Heavy Duty Tie Rods and Drag Links

    Sky Manufacturing provides many custom Tie Rod and Drag link combo's made on a custom basis too your specifications or ours on standard combinations. We use large Chevy style tie rod ends, with a 7/8 inch shank tie rod ends. We use 1.250 O.D tubing with a .250 wall thickness. Average price is around $150 for a tie rod. Sleaving is available .Please call for more info.
